As the summer is slowly coming to an end. We are receiving plenty of calls regarding if there is sufficient insulation in attics for the winter.

Our answers are very simple:
Have you been in the attic ?
If the answer is no , now should be a good time to go and physically check. If you can see the studs that is a major sign that your attic insulation should get topped up.

If yes, we ask them the height of the insulation, that can be done using a measuring tape.

Based on these answers we can give you a specific answer.

Bottom line is electricity costs more then gas. So it’s more expensive to cool down a house then to heat it up.

So before the summer begins the real question should be , is there sufficient insulation in the attic for the summer
